In attendance and followed by a discussion with the director.
In ERZÄHLUNGEN EINES KINOGEHERS director Christiane Büchner devotes herself to the WDR documentary film editor Werner Dütsch in a last major interview. Cinephilic, decisive and curious - he became one of the most influential editors in German television. The film is part of a media oral history project.
For Dütsch, cinema was food. His work biography appears in the film like a dense web of very different insights into cinema. The director's sketchy animations express this mental movement.
