Iva works in a textile factory in Bulgaria, where she sews "Made in EU" labels into clothes and barely makes ends meet. She is ill, but is not allowed to take sick leave. When she suddenly collapses next to the sewing machines, she is publicly suspected of being Bulgaria's first Covid case. The people - driven by fear - turn against her. She is denied shopping, the company management pressures her to resign and even her son's dream of traveling Europe is destroyed.
