It’s been around since 1997: the Poetry Jam down at the harbor in the legendary Subrosa tavern. And now it was time to pass the wheel on to a new generation. With Ely as the host, a fresh breeze is blowing through the Harbor Jam, as it’s now been christened. 

Poetry Jam means live literature—by everyone, for everyone!
A slightly different kind of slam stage: every third Wednesday of the month, the atmosphere at this open mic at Subrosa is completely laid-back—no jury, no competition, nothing to win except experiences and wonderful encounters. This makes it especially personal and cozy, and we get to know our writers from a whole new perspective! 

8–10 poets sweeten our evening with their original works on the coziest bar stage in all of Dortmund. The spoken word art ranges from poetry to prose, to comedy, crazy shopping lists, reenacted conversations, or Grandma’s diary entries. Let yourself be surprised when you hear: Hafen Jam at Subrosa!
