Hey, Nothing

When Hey, Nothing played their first headlining show in Berlin in November 2025, the concert at LARK sold out in no time. A year later, the Atlanta-based duo is returning to Germany with the “Hound World Tour.”

What began a few years ago as a collaborative project between two best friends has since evolved into an exciting success story in the young U.S. indie scene. With their emotional blend of emo-folk, indie rock, and singer-songwriter influences, Hey, Nothing have built an exceptionally close connection with their ever-growing fan base. At the heart of their music are the distinctive voices of Tyler Mabry and Harlow Phillips, as well as lyrics that address topics such as addiction, toxic relationships, family conflicts, trauma, and the challenges of growing up in a way that is both unflinching and empathetic. Inspired by Stephen Chbosky’s cult novel *The Perks of Being a Wallflower*, the duo developed their own style early on, blending vulnerability, self-reflection, and dry humor. With their 2023 debut album “We’re Starting to Look Like Each Other,” Hey, Nothing laid the foundation for their rise to prominence. Songs like “Too Drunk to Drive,” “Like a Brother,” and “i haunt ur dreams” made it clear early on what the band stands for: honest stories, emotional openness, and a remarkable ability to transform personal experiences into songs that resonate with an entire generation. A major milestone was the 2024 EP “Maine,” whose songs were written during a group retreat at a remote cabin in the U.S. state of Maine and address the insecurities of a generation that had to grow up far too quickly.

In early 2025, “33°” followed as the next chapter for a band that continues to evolve while staying true to itself. Last year made it abundantly clear that Hey, Nothing have long since outgrown their status as an insider’s tip. The duo played at renowned festivals such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, Austin City Limits, and All Things Go; performed at Pitchfork London, Pitchfork Paris, and Live at Leeds; and also toured as the opening act for Cage the Elephant. At the same time, their fan base continued to grow rapidly—particularly through a strong presence on TikTok and Instagram, as well as through live shows that are equally moving, humorous, and intense. 

With the “Hound World Tour,” Hey, Nothing are now continuing their remarkable rise in Europe as well. In November, fans in Berlin and Cologne will have the opportunity to experience a band live that has evolved—in a remarkably short time—from an insider’s secret to a household name in the young U.S. indie scene.
