Ciani-Sophia Hoeder will be our guest in the next edition of Alice Hasters' discussion series. In her new book VOM TELLERWÄSCHER ZUM TELLERWÄSCHER, the author and journalist explains how a lack of equal opportunities is shaping our society - and how we can change this.

Alice Hasters, born in Cologne, is an author, presenter and journalist. Her book WHAT WHITE PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT RACISM BUT SHOULD KNOW, published in 2019, became a much-discussed longseller. In a personal way and with a clear view of social dynamics and structures, she describes how racism is expressed in all our relationships and contexts and how patterns of demarcation arise.
Her second non-fiction book IDENTITÄTSKRISE was published in 2023, in which she deals with the major upheavals and ambivalences of our present day. In the 2024/25 season, Alice Hasters will host a conversation with contemporaries and - like her namesake from Lewis Carroll's famous novel - illuminate the world BEHIND THE MIRRORS.
