Door open. Door closed. Three generations meet for Christmas at their grandparents' house. The patriarch already drunk in the morning, daughters and grandchildren between practiced rituals, anecdotes, banal actions, TV and sauna sessions. Thanks to Tia Kouvo's clever direction, what has the makings of a drama alternates between uproariously funny and touching behavioral studies of familiar family dynamics.
