The novel BLAU-AUGE combines real historical figures and events with fictional elements and tells a story of love, betrayal and greed that spans centuries. While the daughter of a deceased sculptor completes his last work in today's Vulkaneifel, a French mineralogist and his brother, a pioneer of blind education, travel from Paris to the Eifel in historical passages. Time strands and figures are linked by the eponymous crystal BLAU-AUGE.
