As the frontman of Californian hardcore heavyweights Stick To Your Guns, Jesse Barnett is known worldwide for his unbridled stage energy, razor-sharp riffs and uncompromising political and social messages. He and his band have been shaping the international heavy music scene for over two decades. But those who only know Barnett as a shouter of brute anthems are missing out on one of his most fascinating facets: his emotional and profound side as a singer-songwriter.

Away from distorted guitars and mosh pits, the US-American regularly demonstrates an extraordinary feel for melody and lyrical depth. Whether with his atmospheric indie pop project Trade Wind or under his own name, Barnett knows how to clothe great emotions in a reduced, acoustic guise. His solo music moves between vulnerable folk, melancholic indie and profound storytelling, but never loses the raw honesty and attitude that also characterize him as a hardcore icon.

As part of a small solo tour, Jesse Barnett is now coming to Europe for a series of selected acoustic shows.
