Josephine Mark - "RED"
Comic reading | vernissage | artist talk
The eagerly awaited new comic novel by Josephine Mark celebrates its premiere at the Moritzbastei! With her usual laconic dialog, dry wit and full of feeling for her quirky characters, the creator of Trip mit Tropf delights with a quirky and twist-filled thriller.
"Just one night!" When a stray dog turns up on Rosa's doorstep one evening, the old lady would like to get rid of the uninvited visitor straight away. Just as she is about to put the disheveled stray outside the door the next morning, his fine nose sniffs out... blood! Right at the back of the cupboard!
Together they throw themselves into solving a cold case that simply won't leave Rosa in peace... 30 years earlier, a bizarre accident had thrown the town into turmoil. But Rosa is certain: it wasn't an accident - it was murder! Suspect: half the neighborhood. The victim: Rosa's husband Red!
The evening will be hosted by Junior Professor Dr. Anna Stemmann, Junior Professor of Modern German Literature with a focus on children's and young adult literature at the Institute of German Studies at Leipzig University.
