JUJU ROGERS

On September 11, JuJu Rogers returns to Cologne. Presented by HEAVY FEELINGS, this special stop will feature JuJu performing music from *Pink Guitars, Spaceships N Voodoo Dolls*, backed by a full live band.

Rooted in New Orleans and based in Berlin, JuJu’s work draws from Black Classical Music, Afrofuturist thought, and Black Atlantic cultural traditions while continually pushing beyond established boundaries.

His latest project, described as Afrophunk, moves between cultural memory, psychedelic explorations, and radical imagination without settling into a single category.

The first time we brought JuJu to Cologne was at King Georg in May 2022. We’re proud to welcome him back and present the Cologne stop of his upcoming live band tour, bringing together JuJu’s growing Counterkultur community and the wider HF community around one of the most distinctive and uncompromising voices in independent music today.
