Kinder-Workshop "Ein Wurfholz aus der Steinzeit" im Rosental

As far back as the Stone Age, people used flint blades to shape slender branches that fit comfortably in their hands. They hunted small animals such as hares, squirrels, and birds. Throwing sticks were probably easier to use than long, heavy spears, so they may have been used by children. Inspired by this idea, we’ll carve and decorate our own throwing stick, which we’ll put to the test on a little hunt for a cardboard animal.
