Kreativer Linolschnitt Workshop

In the organizer's words:

In this linocut workshop, you will design your own motif step by step and print unique graphics on paper without any previous knowledge.
You are welcome to bring your own favorite motif as a template. Materials are available on site. The tools are provided on loan.

Linocut is one of the oldest printing techniques and is currently experiencing a real comeback: reduced, graphic and surprisingly versatile. We deliberately work in black and white in order to clearly emphasize contrasts and shapes.

What you can expect:
- Introduction to technique, tools and materials
- Support with the development of your motif
- Selection of prepared templates (e.g. plants, graphic shapes, typography)
- Step-by-step guidance in carving and printing
- Your own small series of ten unique hand-printed pieces on high-quality A5 paper
- A basic understanding of the technique to continue at home
