EES, the well-known African musician born in Namibia as a descendant of German emigrants, now lives in Germany and spreads an exceptionally good vibe through his rhythmic music and colorful stage presence. His songs are a blend of “Kwaito” and Afro-pop, a sound that emerged from the anti-apartheid movement in southern Africa. He also likes to blend influences from house, reggae, and hip-hop into a fresh musical mix called “Nam Flava,” which has already made him a star in Africa in recent years. For example, he has already won several awards, including the MTV Africa “Listener Choice Award,” “Best Kwaito Artist in Africa” at the Channel O Awards, and a nomination for Best African Album at the KORA Awards (the African Grammys).
