Faina ends up in a small German town and meets Philipp at school, a boy with temper tantrums who likes plants better than people but longs for friendship. Faina is supposed to fill this gap, so he teaches her German and how to celebrate Christmas properly. He makes her his Faina. Years later, Philipp is the guy with a condominium and a steady girlfriend, and Faina shows up on his doorstep as an abandoned, debt-ridden pregnant woman. He lets her in, but at what price? A story about anger and self-empowerment.
