Training on the topic of vulnerability, desire and closeness in (therapeutic) relationships
with Michael Mokrus
This seminar is dedicated to central themes of human experience, which we encounter in many ways in our personal lives and in therapeutic work as a longing for authentic vitality and fullness or as a source of inner conflicts and feelings of shame.
We will approach the dimensions of love, sexuality and intimacy from a developmental-psychological, body-oriented and social perspective, reflect on our own attitudes and strengthen our presence and linguistic repertoire in dealing with these sensitive issues.
Together, we will explore the possibilities of reconciling an open heart and vibrant sexuality. Negative self-concepts such as "I am not lovable" or "I am ashamed of my sensual pleasure", which we infer from previous experiences of a lack of attunement and/or rejection with regard to our love and/or sexuality, influence our ability to make contact, form relationships and develop further - be it on an individual level, in terms of closeness and intimacy, belonging or in spiritual processes.
In order to cope with the lack of attunement, children develop unconscious adaptation strategies that go hand in hand with inner (need) conflicts. These adaptations have a lasting influence on our experience as well as the choices and scope for action when we meet other people today.
We use psychobiological development models such as the character structure models of Freud, Erikson and Lowen and the NeuroAffective Relationship Model (NARM®) by Dr. L. Heller as a guide.
The content and structure of the training, including lectures, demonstration sessions, self-awareness exercises and opportunities for supervision and practical exercises, is aimed at psycho- and body therapists who wish to deepen their understanding, attitude and clarity for these dynamics.
Participating individuals and couples will have the opportunity to develop effective tools from the insights gained in order to shape relationship dynamics more appropriately and with more leeway.
Start on day 1 at 10:00 am, end on the last day at 5:00 pm.
