In the organizer's words:
Encounter and touch in relationship
with Michael Mokrus
The introductory seminar in SomatoSensitive Psychodynamics (SSP) teaches the basics of relationship-oriented touch and the exploration of psycho-somatic patterns in a practical way. Participants experience how body, feelings and psyche interact in the therapeutic relationship and receive valuable impulses for their professional practice.
Seminar description
The two-day introduction offers a practical insight into the basics of Somato-Sensitive Psychodynamics (SSP). The focus is on the process- and relationship-oriented exploration of psycho-somatic patterns, dialogical touch (a form of mindful touch in the therapeutic context) and the importance of the therapeutic relationship for change in the here and now.
Participants gain a vivid impression of SSP and learn the basic principles of relationship-oriented touch. They reflect on and experience the interplay of somatic, affective and psychological processes using practical exercises and case studies, and take away new impulses for interventions in their own practice.
