No extravagance. Also missing all the attitudes that come with such great voices: LIOBA. From stumbling and growing she tells her stories, pure and alive. Musically varied, she takes the listeners on a journey - from tender ballads to dance-light (indie) pop to groovy dance numbers. In the process, the singer/songwriter's pithy, warm voice creates powerful as well as fragile moments, which are further underscored by her strong charisma. After the breakup of her former indie band, LIOBA now presents her new (trip) pop sound solo.
Otherwise more active in the background as a producer, composer & singer e.g. for acts like Haftbefehl, The Voice of Holland, Malonda or Shirley Holmes, MONA M as a female actor puts her focus on diversity & empowerment. Since 2019, when her first own longplayer was released, she likes to perform live with her Girlsquad (among others support for Hyphen Hyphen) - but also solo: the new 'KoolKids' EP (a 2021 co-production with Benji Asare) in her luggage, MONA M is currently touring the German club scene in a Hamburg double feature with LIOBA.
