It's obvious how vulnerable we are and how interdependent we are, and how buffeted we are by our own inadequacies.

Out of the greatest crises often come the most creative ideas, so they say. And so Mrs. Tausendschön has been sitting in the garden for two summers now, waiting for inspiration. A cactus blossom is so beautiful and so beguiling because it was barren for a year before. It will be funny. Maybe also melancholic. Just hanging around.
