Guided tour - In five construction phases, a small village church became the landmark of our town: the mighty Marienkirche, affectionately known as the crown jewel of God. Its numerous towers greet visitors from far and wide across the town and the Kinzig valley, and its harmonious overall appearance blends Romanesque and Gothic elements to create an architectural masterpiece. Particularly worth seeing is the rood screen, one of the few that has survived the centuries unscathed.
