In the organizer's words:

Public themed tour - True to Goethe's proverb: "You can build something beautiful from the stones that are laid in your path", we visit contemporary stone witnesses such as department stores, town houses, monastery courtyards, town walls and town towers.

Gelnhausen's walls are inhabited, farmed, defensive, spiritual and representative. We also get to know walls with very special functions along the way. And why was Gelnhausen actually "stone-rich"?
