After the end of the Trojan War, King Odysseus (Matt Damon) wants to return to his family. But his journey home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) turns out to be more difficult and longer than
expected. Dangers such as cyclopes, sirens, and sea monsters line his path home to Ithaca and cost him another ten years of his life (and that of all his companions). The adaptation tells the story of the ancient Greek epic “The Odyssey,” attributed to Homer. Following “Oppenheimer,” “Tenet,” “Interstellar,” and “Inception,” Christopher Nolan’s latest film project is a visually stunning action epic shot entirely with brand-new IMAX technology at locations around the world. Star-studded cast members including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, and Robert Pattinson bring Homer’s mythical heroic saga and tale of a long odyssey to life on the big screen.
