The world is complicated and there are only three things at all that always tell the truth without beating around the bush. Children, drunks and leggings. Since Patricia Lürmann could not remain a child, since getting drunk all the time seemed somehow unhealthy to her, and since her leggings had nothing nice to say to her at all, she took flight forward and wrote her first solo program.
"Escape forward" is the cabaret program by a courageous artist for a courageous audience. For people who are ready to look reality in the eye, smile and say, "Oh, shit... I know that. I do that too."
Along the way, you'll learn something, too. Patricia Lürmann is a proven expert in useless but entertaining knowledge. The following questions become clear: Why can't Deutsche Bahn be on the dark side of power? Where does nutrition end and missionary work begin? Patricia Lürmann was born in the heart of the Potts in the pithy town of Recklinghausen. She grew up in the identity- and dialect-free area of Hagen and studied in beautiful Munich (considered a year abroad in Bavaria) and then on in Duisburg and Essen, but lived in Bottrop for love's sake. (Logically, why else does one voluntarily live in Bottrop.) She finally became happy in Dinslaken. So she is a true cosmopolitan from the Ruhr area. In her first life plan she wanted to become a serious sociologist. She failed at being serious. That's why she took sociology on stage as her advisor and now the two of them take apart everything they see with wit and statistics.
