A guaranteed divinely devilish puppet show for adults and young people aged 12 and over - admission from 6:30 pm
Italian author Giovanni Guareschi created the stories about the sly, Catholic priest Don Camillo and the powerful, communist mayor Peppone back in the 1940s. Much to the delight of the audience and all "amici" of Italian joie de vivre, Reverend Don Camillo and his "arch-enemy" Peppone behave like angels and devils.
Here, the two heroes celebrate their resurrection in the puppet theater Dornerei. There they experience known and unknown adventures in the cowshed, in the voting booth and on the hunt. The entertaining episodes are all set in Pulcinella, the "Cuba of Italy", a very special place between heaven and hell.
An entertaining hand puppet solo with Mediterranean flair based on the novel "Mondo Piccolo - Don Camillo" by Giovannino Guareschi.
