Queere Revolution

In the organizer's words:

"Queere Revolution": a participatory theater project based on the novel "Lavendelschwert" (1966) by Cologne author Felix Rexhausen, which describes the attempt at a "homosexual revolution". In 2024, the Petra P. production office, together with queer experts, takes a journey back in time to the beginning of the queer emancipation movement and asks: Does "We Are Family" still apply to today's community or is there now only a coexistence of queer bubbles?

The event will be followed by an audience discussion on May 16.

Suitable for audiences aged 14 and over.

Information on accessibility

Spoken language: German

Duration: 90 minutes

On May 17, the performance will be interpreted into German Sign Language (DGS) and accompanied by an audio description.

You can bring your own headphones to use the audio description. The connection works via a simple mini-jack plug.

The event room is barrier-free.

We can reserve wheelchair accessible seats.
