Gesundheit für alle! Queermed lädt ein zum 4. re:Respekt

PICK OF THE DAY

You cannot miss this event.

In the organizer's words:

Queermed is hosting the event for the fourth time. This year’s re:Respekt is themed “Up Close. Broad in Scope. Individual and Structural Discrimination in Health Care.”

Discrimination manifests itself at various levels within the healthcare system: in individual treatment rooms as well as in the structures that either enable or deny access to care in the first place. We ask ourselves questions like “Am I taken seriously as an individual?” and “Which structures determine in advance who will receive good care in the first place?” Both levels are intertwined and have a significant impact on our well-being.

👉This year, there will be two panels on this topic:

Panel 1 – Individual Discrimination
Featuring: Kübra Sekin and Raul Krauthausen

Panel 2 – Structural Discrimination
Featuring: Sibel Schick and Jonathan Czollek

At the Comedia Theater, the event’s founder and host, Samson Grzybek, will speak with the panelists about their work, as well as the challenges and demands facing the healthcare system.

There will be a book table where you can purchase the panelists’ books and have them signed afterward.📚
