Miss Modular, a Düsseldorf native and university graduate, has been active for many years as a DJ and in various bands in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region and, together with DJ Edelescort, is the founder of the RAR party series. Her set will accompany the crowd as they enter the venue leading up to the concert, featuring electroclash, synthpunk, and minimal, and focusing on the fringes of popular electronic music.

Nihad El-Kayed from Berlin is plümmo. In her music, she is interested in contexts and empty spaces; space, sound, and perception. She has produced sound art for exhibitions, theater productions, and sound walks. She has performed at venues including ausland (Berlin), Madame Claude (Berlin), and Salon des Amateurs (Düsseldorf). In her live performances, she moves between experimental electronic music and field recordings.

Daniel Fritschi, from Düsseldorf, is the label owner of Level Records, owner of the legendary techno club Golzheim (rest in peace’n’power), and currently the organizer of the “exposed” party series at the Brücke in Düsseldorf’s Schauspielhaus Central. His DJ set ranges from electronica to acid house and electro.

Paul-Christian Erntges is the owner of the Düsseldorf institution Hauch Records and, together with Miss Modular, the founder of the “RAR” party series. As DJ Edelescort, he has already performed in bars, cafés, clubs, and museums in the Rhine-Ruhr region, Berlin, and Austria, and at Schleuse 2 he plays an eclectic, club-oriented mix ranging from electronica/IDM to post-dubstep, techno, and other electronic genres on the fringes—perfect for the late hours as the evening winds down.
