Romantic chamber music in its most radiant form returns to Moers: Pianist Tobias Krampen, a multi-award-winning lieder and chamber music partner, joins soloists from the Bavarian Chamber Philharmonic, who have previously delighted audiences in this concert series. The ensemble, internationally acclaimed for its energetic performances, combines tonal precision with a palpable joy in playing.
The program centers on Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, Op. 44—a key work of the Romantic repertoire that, with its blend of poetic intimacy, dramatic tension, and chamber-musical brilliance, continues to shape the genre to this day. A reunion with familiar artists and, at the same time, an invitation to rediscover the expressive power of Romantic chamber music.
