SALON LUITPOLD | Junge österreichische Literatur - Ein Abend voller Wortkunst und virtuoser Gitarrenklänge | Mit Luis Brunner & Jiarui An
In the organizer's words:
Luis Brunner reads from the short story “Dieb” by Fabian Franz Macher, and Jiarui Anperformsguitar compositions by Dowland, Assad, and Turinha
Experience an inspiring evening that brings to life the creative energy of Austria’s young cultural scene. The focus is on the gripping short story “Dieb” by Viennese author and filmmaker Fabian Franz Macher. His writing reflects the dynamism and insight of a new generation. The work is presented by the voice of Luis Brunner (actor at the Otto Falckenberg School), who brings the story to life.
The reading is accompanied by the musical talents of Jiarui An (University of Music and Performing Arts, Munich). On the guitar, he presents a varied program spanning from the Renaissance to the modern era. Look forward to masterful compositions that lend the literary texts a unique emotional depth:
John Dowland: A Fancy (p. 73)
Sergio Assad: II) Valseana & III) Preludio e toccatina from “Aquarelle”
Joaquín Turina: Homenaje a Tárrega, Op. 69
Host Alexander Krampe will guide you through the evening.
