Juliane Marie Schreiber, born in Berlin in 1990, is a political scientist and journalist. Her socially critical non-fiction book "Ich möchte lieber nicht" was on the non-fiction bestseller list for three months in a row(ZDF, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Die Zeit) and became a bestseller. Schreiber has worked as a speechwriter and consultant for foundations and human rights organizations. She studied political science and sociology in Berlin (Humboldt University) and Paris (Sciences Po). Her book "Images as Weapons" was awarded the Aquila Ascendens Prize for Young Researchers in Security Policy.
