Sergio Díaz De Rojas is a Peruvian pianist and composer who lives in Düsseldorf, Germany.Growing up in an artistic family, Sergio's musical journey began under the guidance of his great-aunt Elsa, who introduced him to Bach and Chopin at the age of eleven.Although he received a classical education in his youth, Sergio's artistic career took a decisive turn during his time at university. The discovery of musicians such as Nils Frahm, Max Richter and Ólafur Arnalds triggered a revelation and inspired him to turn to composition. His horizons broadened further when he fell in love with cross-genre musicians such as Sufjan Stevens, whose album "Carrie & Lowell" touched him deeply, and Keaton Henson, whose 2014 collaborative album "Romantic Works" inspired him to create his debut album.
