Old-School Pop

Ice Dream Social is an alt-pop duo from Berlin and Cologne, consisting of Sebastian Maier and Jirka Wunsch. They combine Sebastian’s clear yet vulnerable voice and catchy, playful vocal melodies with Jirka’s penchant for experimental sampling. Their music, which was already evident on their DIY EP “Daggus” (2019), is characterized by nostalgic yet modern soundscapes, emotionally charged melodies, and relentless beats. The lyrics deal with loss, searching, and new beginnings, both in a personal and romantic context.

UltimativRot

Alternative Rock

We are Ultimativ Rot, an alternative rock band from the Siebengebirge region. Our sound ranges from ’60s psychedelic rock to modern alternative and electronic influences.

We’re Jacob and Matthias—the founders of the band Ultimativ Rot—and we’ve been making music together ever since we started out in the school band back in the day.

After high school, we continued to pursue music as a passion and regularly got together to write and record songs. From our beginnings as experimental hobby musicians using GarageBand in the attic, our own unique sound has crystallized over the years, and it now shines through professional studio recordings. This sound can be described as a fusion

of ’60s psychedelic rock with modern alternative rock and indie pop. To bring our songs to life on stage as faithfully as possible, the band—with Peter on bass, Tim on drums, and Andi on lead guitar—has expanded into a five-piece combo.
