80s cover band with a rock twist

Greatest hits from 80s pop, rock, and new wave, with a strong focus on “ROCK!”: 

That means music for partying, jumping, dancing, and reminiscing—music for all generations.

Named after the heart of the time machine from “Back to the Future,” the band plays famous pop earworms and party hits: they combine iconic melodies and atmosphere with more rock power and polished arrangements.

The Cologne-based band’s repertoire ranges from Van Halen to Whitesnake, from the Eurythmics to U2. To complete the time-travel experience for the audience, FLUXKOMPENSATOR weaves surprising musical references to well-known movie and TV themes—such as *Back to the Future*, *Magnum*, and *Indiana Jones*—into their set.

Singers Jenny Dennin and Benjamin Braun shine with their breathtaking voices and their talent for getting the audience fired up. Chris Jäger cranks up the energy with his powerful guitar riffs and fiery leads. Bassist Johannes Hönsch adds a touch of virtuosic finesse and, together with drummer Carsten Adler, lays down the rhythmic, groovy foundation. Finally, keyboardist Michael Meza uses his synthesizers to create a rich tapestry of ’80s sounds, paired with bold, modern tones that give the songs a sometimes unexpected, fresh twist.
