Solar Party: From Balcony Power Plants to Rooftop Solar Systems

Even right in the heart of Ehrenfeld, whether on your balcony, bike shed, or rooftop, you can harness the sun’s energy for yourself, save on electricity costs, and help protect the climate at the same time. Soon, BüzE will have its own solar system, too.
At theSolaroffensive Köln solar parties, a “packsdrauf Solar Ambassador” shares their experiences with their own solar system and gives ashort presentation on everything you need to know about installing your own system, whether on your balcony or roof: Is my roof or balcony suitable? Is the energy yield worth it? Where can I get grants? What are the first steps to getting started? And, is solar energy perhaps addictive?
Afterward, there will be time for questions. Enjoy the conversation on what we hope will be a balmy summer evening with cool drinks—feel free to bring your own snacks and picnic gear.
