STADTKLIMA: VOM GIESSEN BIS ZUR ERNTE

The outdoor area at the depot is becoming a green learning space right in the heart of the city! Together with interested preschoolers, we’ll follow the entire gardening year—from the first seed to the harvest. Vegetables and herbs grow in raised beds and pots, along with plenty of exciting questions: What’s sprouting from the ground? Who’s nibbling on the leaves? And why do some plants need more water than others? Of course, the children will also be sowing, planting, tending, and harvesting. With their cameras, the young gardeners document their discoveries and, step by step, create their own photo guide on growing, caring for, and harvesting plants. A project for everyone who loves to dig, observe, experiment, and discover nature with all their senses.

Additional dates will be announced. The workshop is part of the “Urban Climate—Neighborhood on New Paths” project and aims to provide young people from the neighborhood with low-threshold access to culture and environmental sustainability.
