STADTKLIMA: VOM GIESSEN BIS ZUR ERNTE

The outdoor area at the depot becomes a green learning space in the middle of the city! Together with interested KiTa children, we accompany a whole year of gardening - from the first seed to the harvest. Vegetables, herbs and lots of exciting questions grow in raised beds and tubs: What's sprouting out of the ground? Who is nibbling on the leaves? And why do some plants need more water than others? Sowing, planting, tending and harvesting are of course also part of the experience. The young gardeners record their discoveries with a camera and create their own step-by-step photo guide to growing, caring and harvesting. A project for anyone who likes to dig, observe, try things out and discover nature with all their senses.

Further dates will be announced. The workshop is part of the Stadtklima - Nachbarschaft auf neuen Wegen project and aims to provide young people from the neighborhood with low-threshold access to culture and ecological sustainability.
