STREITKLUB – S. Rudat & das (i)dentityteam
In the organizer's words:
Participatory Pop-Up Performances on the Topic of the Culture of Debate
Accessibility: with open audio description and induction loop technology; wheelchair accessible
When social currents drift further and further apart, dialogue is essential; but we—as a collective society—aren’t particularly good at debating.
So what can we do? Practice.
Welcome to the Debate Club: We are artists. We think in terms of utopias; theater is our profession, and conflicts belong on stage.
Join the club—let’s practice arguing together.
Everyone is welcome in the Debate Club, as long as they play by the rules in good spirit.
First rule of the Debate Club: We talk about it!
Second rule of the Debate Club: We do NOT NOT talk about it!
Third rule of the Debate Club: …everyone joins in!
We’ll provide your “sparring partners,” with whom you can practice arguing in a relaxed setting.
Are you currently in—or have you been in—a conflict that you can’t resolve, or can’t resolve satisfactorily? Doyounever argue and want to learn to stand up for yourself better? Do you argue fiercely, and does it often backfire? Come join us—we’ll argue for you and with you.
If you have a conflict you’d like to discuss, feel free to send it to us in advance at mail@s-rudat.com
