SUSIE WANG Burnt Toast

In this very funny, abysmal and slightly disturbing play by the Norwegian group Susie Wang, the horror breaks out in the hotel lobby: a guest with a chained briefcase meets a breastfeeding mother and a receptionist who tries to put a good face on the bad game. We find ourselves in a tricky situation in which love, sex and family are combined in a vampire-like way. At some point, events come to a head and something smaller and smaller emerges until "HOPE" finally appears at the end. With this entertaining theatrical shocker, Susie Wang have created one of the best plays of their career. It began in the 90s with some of its members under the name Baktruppen, including at Kampnagel, in an attempt to abolish dramatic theater. Since 2017, they have taken a dramatic turn under the name Susie Wang and are now staging fictional theater with roles and plot, permeated by horror elements and devious meta-levels. This will be their third time at the Summer Festival to provide the best theatrical excitement.
