POLAR NOIR
Pop, Shoegaze, Wave | Berlin
POLAR NOIR is the project of Berlin songwriter and producer Sandra Gern, who draws her inspiration from nature - especially water. In 2025, she released her debut album "Coming Up For Breath", which tells of longing and missed opportunities in a society that has become alienated from itself and nature. Her topics range from personal emotional worlds to global issues such as the climate crisis, and musically she pursues directions "that one would not associate with protest music", as Musikexpress notes.
Instead, her shoegaze and wave-inspired pop songs are reminiscent of the "4AD pop of Lush and Pale Saints" or a mixture of "Cocteau Twins, Beach House and Slowdive" (Under the Radar Magazine). With this sound, she quickly attracted national and international attention: her songs were played on hundreds of radio stations in Europe and the USA such as KEXP, Deutschlandfunk Nova and FM4.
She performed live at the Maifeld Derby in Mannheim, at the legendary Stodola in Warsaw, as well as at the Spanish showcase festival Pro Weekend and accompanied bands such as "M83", "Edwin Rosen" or "Cari Cari" as support on tour. (Source: Artist)

OKE
Soul, Electro-Pop | Nigeria/Luxembourg
Born in Nigeria and based in Luxembourg, OKE is a boundary-pushing artist who fuses African soul, electronic pop and cinematic storytelling into a sound that feels both global and deeply personal. Drawing from his Yoruba roots and European upbringing, OKE's music explores identity, confidence and the power of transformation through a bold multi-alter-ego project known as the "ALTER-EGO" universe.
Each alter-ego reveals a different facet of OKE's essence, including Stella Ross, the uncompromising female force at the center of his new single "Sensational". His "ALTER-EGO" EP unites these characters into a single narrative about love, freedom and finding one's authentic self.
These are more than just songs, they are characters, worlds and invitations. With this EP, OKE moves between his Yoruba roots, European style and a boundless soundscape to make a statement that is as playful as it is powerful. This is music that liberates, and this is just the beginning.
OKE has always felt at home in Luxembourg, ever since he moved there from Nigeria in 2008 at the age of eight. Although his musical journey began in a church choir in Nigeria, he only really developed his melodic pop universe after moving to Luxembourg. In 2017, he began to take music more seriously, laying the foundation for his current music project OKE. (Source: Artist*in, Translation: Feierwerk e.V.)

COUSINES LIKE SHIT
Pop, Indie, Lo-fi | Vienna, Austria
COUSINES LIKE SHIT is a Vienna-based band consisting of the two cousins Hannah and Laura Breitfuß. With pointed punchlines, they proclaim their view of social phenomena and the paradoxes of human existence. Their tracks offer room for self-reflection, convey the feeling of being caught out or simply bring a smile to your face when you recognize the comical character of certain human behaviour patterns. Their sound cannot be pigeonholed - COUSINES LIKE SHIT themselves call it "Avant Trash". This is also the title of their debut album, which was released on Seayou Records in September 2023. Their self-proclaimed genre reflects the cousins' unique style, their lyric-oriented approach and their simple but catchy melodies. (Source: artist, translation: Feierwerk e.V.)
