Songs, Stories, and Tales About Life

Have we ever written anything in Kölsch about happy couples? Are we Kölsch folks afraid that we’d sound too melodramatic? There aren’t many texts about love besides songs. I looked for some and found a few—even if they had to be adapted into Kölsch from legends, fairy tales, and world literature. We can read some very modern poems by Minnie Stein in the book “Minge leeve Jeck.” Once in a while, we’ll head into the city to places that have left their mark on us; we’ll pick the date together.

Note: If you want to join, you must have taken the language course or already know Kölsch from home.

 This course is intended for advanced learners who already speak Kölsch and have a basic grasp of writing in Kölsch.
