TikTok, Instagram & Co. – Was Social Media mit Jugendlichen macht

For today’s teens, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms are a natural part of everyday life. At the same time, many questions arise: What impact does social media have on self-image? Why does the pressure to compare oneself to others arise? And how can teens learn to use digital media in a self-directed way?

In thisfree digital parents’ evening, Ulrike Bösel (M.Sc. in Applied Cognitive and Media Sciences), a lecturer in media psychology and founder of net kit, will provide an accessible overview of the latest findings in media psychology.

In addition to scientific background information, you can expect practical tips for dealing with social media in everyday life, as well as time for questions and discussion.

The parents’ evening is aimed particularly at parents of teenagers, but is open to anyone interested.
