Tony Bennett 100: All Star Duets

When the charismatic crooner and entertainer Tony Bennett passed away in 2023 at the age of 96, an entire era came to an end. Men of his stature and timeless class simply no longer exist today. Shortly before the 19-time Grammy winner now celebrates his 100th birthday in heaven, a local formation led by Kilian Sladek and Santa Šillere (vocals) is reviving his All Star Duets - Bennett had repeatedly embarked on duets with greats of all stripes. These pairings can be found on several albums and are consistently regarded as classics.

So when Kilian Sladek, Santa Šillere, trumpeter Thomas Siffling, pianist Lukas Voith, bassist Peter Cudek and drummer Matthias Gmelin pay tribute to the great Tony Bennett, it will be exciting to see which of his duets they want to remember: the ones with Lady Gaga? Or those that the New Yorker once recorded for eternity with Natalie Cole, Sheryl Crow, Diana Krall, Christina Aguilera, Norah Jones, Aretha Franklin or Mariah Carey?
