Utopie 1: Garten der Lüste

In the organizer's words:

While consord looked into a possible dystopian future in several concert formats last year, it is now devoting itself to the supposedly ideal, the non-place (ou-topos) and opening doors to parallel worlds: Among other things, it does this with Anthony Braxton's Ghost Trance Music, which is collaborative, multi-layered, extremely variable and inspired by the ghost dances of indigenous American peoples. The same applies to Alex Paxton's music, which knows no genre boundaries and is as rich and fantastic as a painting by Hieronymus Bosch. Works by Liza Lim and Iannis Xenakis can also be heard. The compositions are complemented by field recordings by Ronan Whittern and Constantin Herzog.
