Cloister, Kölsch, and Krätzjer
The few remaining cloisters in Cologne’s Romanesque churches are the most beautiful venues for evening events on balmy summer evenings!
Together with the evening’s guest speaker, Dieter Boristowski, we invite you to a Cologne-style reading in the cloister of St. Maria im Kapitol. The program will feature special Cologne-style texts, anecdotes, and stories about Cologne’s Romanesque churches.
The event will feature musical accompaniment on the accordion and vocals by the two Krätzjer singers Volker Hein and Johannes Fromm, also known as “herrschmitz.”
Enjoy an entertaining evening in the cloister!
