WeArtHere - CSD Special: Queer Resistance

CSD weekend in Cologne. Between demonstrations, community and parties, WeArtHere! invites you to an evening that combines art, entertainment and political stance.

After last year's sold-out CSD special, the format returns to the COMEDIA Theater Cologne and is slowly becoming a tradition during Pride month. Under the motto "Queer Resistance", Oyindamola Alashe and Gianni Jovanovic remind us that Christopher Street Day is much more than just a colorful party: it stands for visibility, self-determination and the fight for equal rights.

Together with their guests, they ask what queer resistance looks like today. They show that it doesn't just take place at demonstrations. It can also be found in art, humor, community, self-assertion and the joy of creating spaces together.

Music, comedy, dance, drag, spoken word and personal stories come together on stage. The line-up includes author and presenter Maria Popov, dancer and choreographer Eray Gülay, spoken word artist and drag performer Mieze McCripple, singer and comedian Cale Kalay, comedian Tobias Born and singer FAYIM.

WeArtHere! is the perfect CSD event for anyone who wants a special evening with community, great artists and good conversations - and who doesn't want to lose sight of queer struggles despite the party atmosphere.
