A new school year begins for Carag, Brandon, Holly and Lou at Clearwater High. And it's a tough one, because the nature reserve around the school is in danger. Carag's former mentor Andrew Milling is planning to sell the forest around the boarding school - the territory of the shapeshifters! Puma shifter Carag and his friends try to prevent this by all means, but Milling has a spy at the school and is always one step ahead of them. Snow she-wolf Tikaani, of all people, finally comes to their aid. But can Carag really trust her - and is there perhaps even more than friendship between the two of them?
