Philippe (FRANÇOIS CLUZET) leads the perfect life. He is rich, of noble birth, well-educated, and has a whole army of domestic staff—but he can’t do anything without help! Philippe is paralyzed from the neck down. One day, Driss (OMAR SY), a young man who has just been released from prison, shows up in Philippe’s orderly life. Driss really just wants a stamp on his application for unemployment benefits, and at first glance, the charming, loud-mouthed guy from the suburbs doesn’t seem at all suited for the job as a caregiver. But his carefree, cheeky manner piques Philippe’s curiosity. On the spur of the moment, he hires Driss and gives him two weeks to prove himself. But do Mozart and Earth, Wind & Fire, poetry and crude jokes, fine suits and hoodies really go together? And why doesn’t Philippe ever use that magnificent Maserati that’s parked, covered, in the courtyard?
