The Wuppertaler Kurrende returns to Stuttgart! Lukas Baumann, himself a former choir member, gained valuable experience after completing his studies in Weimar as an assistant with the Jena Philharmonic Boys’ Choir and the Windsbach Boys’ Choir. Since 2022, he has led the Wuppertaler Kurrende with great artistic expertise and a deep sense of connection to his home choir. The boys’ choir’s programs combine key works from music history—such as motets by the Bach family—with new or lesser-known compositions. Both elements are meaningful, both for the training of the boys and young men and for us as the audience.
