KLINKE: Jeder Zenit & Unknown Urban Sounds
In the organizer's words:
Zenitbegan as a solo recording project by Emanuel Schwarz, who was part of the alternative music scene centered around KOMMA Esslingen. After several years of songwriting and demo recordings in his bedroom at home, the project evolved in 2025 into a full-fledged band that enjoys performing a selection of the songs they’ve written. The four-piece live lineup consists of Simon Rapp (drums), Maxi Messer (bass guitar), Niklas Sauer (guitar), and Emanuel Schwarz (guitar & vocals).
If one were to categorize Jeder Zenit’s sound by genre, one would find influences ranging from post-punk, shoegaze, noise, and krautrock, among others, though pop-oriented song structures always remain clearly recognizable. From harmonious and clean to dissonant and distorted to psychedelic and driving, Jeder Zenit draws on a relatively broad sound palette without losing its distinctive character.
A debut release is planned for summer 2026. The drums for the recorded songs were played by Marc Dreher (Bees Made Honey In The Vein Tree) and Philipp Knoth (Flawless Issues, Peter Muffin Trio, Ex-Die Nerven, among others).
“Somehow funny, somehow sad, somehow pretty, somehow mad.”
Somewhere between electronic and pop, with a touch of techno and house mixed with bouncy chords that make you want to dance, catchy melodies, and a melancholic, atmospheric soundscape. UUS, teetering on the edge between kitsch and irony, yet always sincere and never pretentious.
