LOFFT - DAS THEATER is a production center and venue for independent performing arts in Leipzig. Dance, spoken theater and performance determine the repertoire.

The theater is pretty much the place to be for anyone who likes innovative and unconventional performances. LOFFT is located on the grounds of the Spinnerei in Hall 7, right in the heart of Leipzig's art scene.

LOFFT has really blossomed over the years. Originally a small project, it has gradually developed into one of the most important venues for the independent scene in Saxony. Since 2019, the theater has been based in the Spinnerei, a former cotton mill that now serves as a cultural center.

What makes LOFFT so special is definitely its focus on independent and contemporary art. There are really creative and often interactive shows here. The productions are international and the program ranges from dance and performance to theater and installation.
