About the event:
The Strassentauben Collective invites you on an outing—specifically to a place where plus-size bodies are rarely welcome: the amusement park.
The seats are too narrow, the safety bars too small, the stares too intense. What is a pleasure for some becomes, for others, a reminder that they don’t fit the norm.
In an immersive theatrical journey, Canan Venzky, Linus Wirth, and Jordan Tanner turn this logic on its head. Drawing on their own stories, they take the audience on a roller-coaster ride through the experiences of being fat. “AdFATureland” transforms the stage into an amusement park where everyone fits in the seats and where it always smells like cotton candy. A Disneyland, just for us.
About the artists:
Jordan Tanner, Linus Wirth, and Canan Venzky are three artists based in Bremen. From youth theater to film productions, they’ve each been active on the Bremen scene for quite some time. With “Fat Fucks,” they brought their first collaborative work to the stage in 2025 and are now continuing to explore fatness as an identity and a social dimension.

Facilities
All public areas of the Schwankhalle are at ground level and accessible without steps.
There are three different restrooms: an accessible restroom that can also be used by wheelchair users, a restroom with three stalls, and a restroom with urinals and one stall.
Audience Area
The audience area is usually equipped with seating.
Wheelchair-accessible seats are located in the front row and can be reserved in advance by phone at 0421 520 80 70, by email at ticket@schwankhalle.de, or by selecting them in the ticket shop.
Special Needs
Special needs, such as specific seats, early boarding, or an additional ticket for a companion, can be specified when purchasing or reserving tickets.
